Transmission & Distribution Assets

Engineers Guild offers a wide range of expertise in the planning, design and execution of Transmission & Distribution (T&D) assets that facilitate power delivery to the end user. Our services to owners, developers and operators range from concept, pre-feasibility, feasibility, design and engineering studies to final project delivery, including project management, detailed engineering, procurement, construction management and commissioning. We use sophisticated software tools for planning and design studies that range from power-flow modelling in small power systems to transient and dynamic stability studies in highly developed, congested and large power systems in addition to preparing technical specifications and design layouts for T&D assets. Our planning and engineering expertise includes all phases and parts of the power delivery system:

POWER SYSTEM PLANNING
  • Connection studies: include generator and load connection studies in local power distribution systems or integrated transmission systems
  • Concept and pre-feasibility studies: modelling, proof of concept, basic design and cost estimates for transmission, substation and distribution initiatives to address planning objectives
  • Regional supply planning studies and long-range integrated resource planning studies for electric utilities and countries
INTEGRATED GRID OPERATIONS
  • Feasibility studies for system control centers, EMS and DMS
